AI products built for real businesses.
I help businesses across Kuwait, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the UAE design and build AI products, AI agents, automation and intelligent internal tools.
Most businesses don't need more AI tools.
They need one painful workflow removed. The support queue that eats a person's whole morning. The quotes that take three days because someone has to dig through old proposals. The monthly report that exists only because nobody has automated it.
I've spent fifteen years running the operations side of digital businesses in Kuwait and the UAE — CTO, COO, CEO seats, not advisory ones. That shapes how I approach AI work: start from the workflow that actually costs you money, prove it with something running, then decide whether it deserves to become a product.
The failure mode I see most often is a company buying an AI platform before anyone has written down which decision it is supposed to make. The second is a demo that impresses a boardroom and never survives contact with real data. Both are avoidable, and avoiding them is most of the job.
What I build
Eight kinds of work, all of which end with something running in production rather than a deck.
AI Product Development
Customer-facing products with an AI layer that earns its place — from scoping through to a deployed, measurable build.
AI Agents
Agents that own a defined workflow end to end, with permissions, guardrails and a human approval path where it matters.
AI Automation
Removing repetitive work across CRM, WhatsApp, support, content operations and reporting — without adding another dashboard.
AI Consulting
Opportunity assessment, workflow discovery and a roadmap that ends in a prototype rather than a recommendation.
Arabic-first AI Products
Bilingual products where the Arabic side is designed first, not translated last — RTL, dialect, typography and search.
Internal AI Tools
Knowledge assistants, internal search and operations copilots that sit on your own data and answer with citations.
Generative AI Integrations
LLM features inside products you already run — drafting, classification, extraction, summarisation — wired into existing systems.
AI MVPs
The smallest version of an idea that a real user can judge, built in weeks so you learn whether it is worth funding.
Markets
Same practice, different problems. Each market page covers what companies there actually ask for.
Kuwait
15+ years of regional operating and digital-product experience, including a decade inside Kuwaiti media and eCommerce.
Dubai
AI products, MVPs and automation for fast-moving companies and founders who need something in front of users this quarter.
Abu Dhabi
AI systems, internal tools and automation for enterprise-oriented use cases where governance and accuracy matter more than speed.
UAE
AI product development across the Emirates, remote-first, with regular time on the ground.
Selected AI work
Real builds. Where a number would be commercially sensitive or unverified, it isn't here.
AhlanAI
An Arabic-first directory for discovering AI tools — 500+ tools across 20+ categories, with the Arabic experience designed as the primary one rather than a mirrored translation.
Al-Qabas
CTO of one of Kuwait's established newspapers since 2016, leading the digital transformation of a print-era publisher into a platform business.
WAVAI
Co-founder and CTO of a Kuwait-based web and eCommerce practice building Shopify, WordPress and Webflow work for brands across the GCC.
Alsadu
A digital platform for Sadu weaving and Kuwaiti craft heritage. In active development — written up once it ships.
How the work runs
Six stages. The first two are where most of the value is decided, and they are the two most projects skip.
Understand
Sit with the people doing the work and watch the actual workflow. Where does the time go, which decisions repeat, what does an error cost?
Prioritise
Rank candidates by impact against effort and risk. Most lists come back with one obvious first move and several that should wait a year.
Prototype
Build the thinnest version that can be judged by a real user on real data. If it can't be judged in week one, the scope is wrong.
Build
Turn the prototype into something that survives edge cases — auth, permissions, error handling, an admin surface someone can actually operate.
Integrate
Connect it to the systems the business already runs on. Integration is usually where the timeline goes, so it gets planned, not discovered.
Improve
Instrument it, watch where it fails, and fix the top failure each cycle. An AI feature that nobody monitors quietly degrades.
Why work with me
The specific combination, stated plainly.
Fifteen years building and running digital businesses across Kuwait and the UAE, in CTO, COO and CEO seats rather than advisory ones.
Regional operating experience — customers, expectations, payment rails and procurement rhythms in the GCC, without a learning curve on your time.
Arabic and English product thinking, with Arabic treated as a design problem rather than a translation task.
Product strategy, UX and development in one person, so the scoping decision and the build decision aren't made by different parties.
AI implementation experience across LLM features, agents and automation, not only prompt work.
Ability to go from idea to a working product a customer can use, which is what actually settles most arguments about scope.
What I don't do: long discovery phases with no working surface, pure strategy retainers with no build attached, or projects where nobody on the client side owns the outcome.
